Water’s Edge at Lucien Lake has access to many services to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for property owners:
- Utilities: Natural gas, electricity and telephone are provided on each lot.
- Water: Owners will be required to install Holding tanks or drill their own water well. Treated water is available from the new coin operated reverse osmosis water treatment plant in the Village of Middle Lake.
- Sewage: Owners will be required to install septic tanks for sewage disposal. Local providers are available on a fee for service basis.
- Roads: All roads within the subdivision will be maintained by the rural municipality (RM) of Three Lakes.
- Garbage: Owners will be required to properly dispose of solid waste. Garbage disposal may be contracted for with REACT Waste Management or may be hauled to REACT transfer stations during their public hours of operation.
- Police Services: Safety and security services are provided by the local RCMP.
- Emergency Medical and Ambulance Services: Full medical services are available in Humboldt.
- Fire Protection: Fire protection services are provided by the Volunteer Middle Lake Firefighters.
- Lucien Lake has over 105 hectares of fresh water, ideal for aquatic recreation and home to an excellent sport fishing population of Walleye and Northern Pike. The Saskatchewan fisheries department closely monitors and stocks the fish population.
- Lucien Lake Regional Park features a groomed sand beach, an extensive children’s play area, miniature golf, concessions, and several exciting festivals and events running throughout the year.
- Village of Middle Lake has 28 businesses providing goods and services like restaurants, groceries, and hotel accommodations.
- Prairie’s Edge Park at Lucien Lake has a public park, picnic site, and children’s play area created in the heart of the Water’s Edge at Lucien Lake development.
- Prairie Sky Trails has seen the addition of over 16,000 trees to date and over 10,000 additions planned for 2013. The trail system links the entire development for walking, cross country skiing, horseback riding, and ATVs.
